GAME GUIDE
Find a game for the evening you have in mind.
A few practical questions can make choosing your next tabletop game easier.
Think about the group
Consider player count and how familiar everyone is with tabletop games.
Plan for the full session
Include rules, setup and a first round in the time budget. Printed play times may not include explaining rules or setting up.
Pick the right energy
Think about social play, puzzles, cooperation or deeper strategy.
A useful starting point
Balance three things: people, time and complexity. Decide how long the group wants to play, then consider whether they prefer competition, cooperative problem-solving or open-ended social interaction. Add time for teaching rules, especially with new players.
